The Android developer have redesigned the notification feature like Custom views, Bundled notification, Direct reply, Template updates to provide faster and easier method to use their device. With the new Direct reply feature user can reply to the message within the notification area without opening that particular apps.

Once the data saving mode is enabled in Settings, the system will block background data and will also signal applications to use less data “whenever possible.” Users also have an option to select specific applications to run in the background and use data even when the data saving mode is enabled.
Vulkan is the new 3D API for the Google Android N. This new 3D API is designed to reducing the CPU overhead allows some synthetic benchmarks to see as much as 10 times the draw-call revenue on a single core, compared with OpenGL ES. Combined with a friendly API-threading design allows multiple cores to be used in parallel with high efficiency, this offers a significant increase in performance for the draw calls heavy applications.

You are familiar with the Doze mode, which was introduced in previous version of Android. In Marshmallow user can save their battery from different apps and with network activities. In this new improved Doze method user can save the battery while on the go. It will save the device battery while it is in your pocket by optimizing all the apps. The Doze method will turn off your device screen after the short period when the doze mode is enabled. Any time the screen is off for a period of time and the device is switched off, does not apply a subset of the CPU family and network restrictions on applications. This means that users can save battery power even when transporting your devices in their pockets.
One of the notable additions in Android N is the native support for block-number on the platform. Google says that the new feature will be applied to the default messaging application, the default phone application and third-party provider applications can also read and write to the list of blocked numbers. The company points out that the list will not be accessed by other applications. With the number-blocking added to Android N as a native feature, developers can take advantage of the support through a wide range of devices. One of the biggest advantages of having the number blocking feature in the system is that the blocked numbers persist across reboots and devices through the Backup & Restore. The company also introduced Call Screening feature in Android N that will allow the default phone app to track incoming calls.
